How Careful Should I Be?

You are not a tradesperson.  You are a student.  However

Bent nails and carelessly handled materials are not accepted in this class.  You may be asked to throw away or pull apart any work which is done hastily.
It is ok to make an honest mistake.  Just try measuring and cutting again!
