The Cobberas Mountains

Almost 7 hours from Melbourne these mountains lie on the border of the Pilot wilderness of the Kosciusko National Park.  The trackless isolation hides wild horses, wildflowers and unusual views.

you can see the Pilot between the Cleft Peak in January the Greenhoods were still flowering amongst the snow gums picking our way through the Snow gums we descend Cobberas number 1
