More Views of the Moroka

On the long weekend in June, 2001, we returned to the remoteness of the Snowy Bluff and the Moroka river.  Following the McMillans Walking track, one of our party fell.  We were grateful to the SES and the Heyfield Police for their assistance in his rescue.

we follow the steep spur to the Moroka river the McMillan track follows the Moroka river the rush of the river has scoured a deep gorge
you must always cross the Moroka carefully and now you will reach the steep side of the Snowy Bluff Grevillea rosmarinifolia slowly returns after heavy bushfires in the 90's
turn north and follow the ridge after the Waterfall the Moroka river disappears below us at last we reach the Snowy Bluff summit again
